With a Master of Planning from Dalhousie University, I’ve rapidly advanced at the Eeyou Marine Region Planning Commission (EMRPC), currently helming the Director role since March 2023. My academic background is complemented by a BA in Political Science from McGill and a certificate in Mediation from Herzing College. At the EMRPC, we’ve leveraged my communication and critical thinking skills to progress the development of a land use plan for the marine region. From a contract Land Use Planner to Director, my journey has been marked by a collaborative approach and problem-solving acumen, ensuring that our planning initiatives align with coastal Cree community interests and broader stakeholder and government initiatives.
